Directional Drilling - More commonly known as horizontal directional drilling (HDD), this is a steerable, trenchless method of installing underground pipes, conduits and cables along a defined bore path by using a drilling rig. HDD is used when trenching or excavating is not practical. HDD can be used to install new pipelines or replace existing ones. It requires less working space and may be performed more quickly than open cut methods. It minimizes environmental disruption and is used for a variety of soil conditions and jobs including roadways and landscapes. Pipes can be made of materials such as Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and High Density polyethylene (HDPE) which is pulled through the drilled hole. Future Works operators and locators have decades of experience and always work with our customers for the best outcome. This application has been used successfully for the following types of projects for the installation of conduit throughout central and northeast Florida.

In our construction phase we offer underground, aerial and building to building deployment. Corning certified; Future Works staff is experienced in all aspects of Fiber Installation, testing and maintenance. No job is too small. This team handles both Single Mode (SM) and Multi Mode (MM) fiber, Trouble Shooting and Emergency Restoration, mechanical and Fusion Splicing, Ring Cuts and OTDR Testing and certification with documentation of cable faults provided in hardcopy or CD upon request.
