History
Future Works Communications, Inc., a minority owned company, was founded by Jean and Bill Jordan in 1999. Originally developed as a head hunting service, they were able to build teams that successfully joined subcontractor and customer providing a high level of expertise in specific fields of service supporting the latest broadband technologies.
As the needs of the industry changed, Future Works expanded into Fiber Optics, Power and telephone. The Fiber Optics staff is Corning Certified and offers services which include Emergency Restoration, Mechanical and Fusion Splicing, Ring Cuts and OTDR Testing.
Future Works worked closely with local power companies and a manufacturer to develop a Polymer Composite enclosure that leads the market in tested durability and strength. From hand holes to Manholes, with a wide variety of sizes available, Future Works became an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for Polymer Composite utility enclosures.
In 2005 Future Works continued to expand with the acquisition of a Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) company. This purchase enabled us to work in yet another field and continue to expand our efforts in construction via Directional Drilling. In 2008, Future Works became a distributor for Blue Diamond Industries, LLC.*, a manufacturer of HDPE pipe. As a distributor for Blue Diamond, Future Works would now be able to supply the materials needed to complete drilling projects at a cost savings to our customer by eliminating the middleman.

We live where we work and work where we live, providing support to the state and local economies. Future Works will always put the needs of our customers first. We strive to look for new avenues in which we can enhance our services and minimize the challenges of our customers.
